Digital Babylon
:

When the World Wide Web emerged as the technological force of the 1990's, the dynamics and culture of this media intrigued Eva, and captured her imagination. So much so, that she joined forces with John Geirland, a writer and consultant on new media developments, and together they co-authored the
book Digital Babylon: How the Geeks the Suits and
the Ponytails tried to bring Hollywood to the Internet
.

Published in 1999 (Arcade Publishing, NY.),
the book provides an insightful window into the early days and early attempts to transform the Web into an entertainment venue.

Digital Babylon was written up in a variety of major print publications, including: The Boston Globe, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, The San Jose Mercury News, The Industry Standard, Salon, Upside, Digital Entertainment Magazine, and the online versions of PC World and Red Herring. Digital Babylon has also been used as a textbook for a new media class taught at UCLA's Anderson School of Business. Additionally, Eva has appeared on a number of professional panels, including the Churchill Club, and has been interviewed by various radio and TV shows, such as Technation and Tech Now.
